Course Description:

The Rescue Diver training course is first in a series of leadership courses for the diver who wants to advance their knowledge and skills in safe diving.  This course will teach the diver:

• Handle emergencies on, in or under the water
• Speed entries
• Techniques for dealing with a panicked diver
• Locating lost divers underwater
• Proper carries and collection methods
• Evacuation at sea or shoreline

Course Requirements:

The Rescue Diver training course is three weeks long or scheduled at divers request and requires the following prerequisites/equipment to be provided by the diver:

• Advanced Open Water certification
• First Aid certificate
• CPR certificate
• Personal dive gear
• Course books
• Other supplies
